Translation of the meanings Surah: Al-Layl   Ayah:

Al-Lail

Ayah: 1

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰ
Nditsuba khu shilo olwashifunikhanga!
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
Nende khushiteere olwa shiteeranga!
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ
Nende khuwaloonga eshisatsa nende eshikhasi!

Ayah: 4

إِنَّ سَعۡيَكُمۡ لَشَتَّىٰ
Toto bwene okhukhalabana khwenyu khwaukhane.

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أَعۡطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
Kho, ulia urusia mana naaria Nyasaye,

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
Mana naasubila muno kalia akali amalayi,

Ayah: 7

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ
Khwitsa okhumuwanguyisilia kabe amangu.

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
Ne ulia ukhola obwimani, mana niyelola mbu yeyerere.

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
Mana nakatsula amalayi po,

Ayah: 10

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡعُسۡرَىٰ
Khwitsa okhumuwanguyisilia kabe amasiro!

Ayah: 11

وَمَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ
Ne omwandu kukwe kulimukhonya shina olwa aliba nasikhanga?

Ayah: 12

إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا لَلۡهُدَىٰ
Toto bwene kali khwifwe okhwechesia obulunjifu.

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ
Ne toto bwene kali khwifwe ka mutsuli (akhera) nende kokhuranjilila.

فَأَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ نَارٗا تَلَظَّىٰ
Kho ebekanyisilie omulilo kwakhanga obutinyu!

لَا يَصۡلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى
Shalikwinjilamwo tawe halali Omubii muno!

ٱلَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ
Ulia wakatsula mana nafutara omukongo.

وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَتۡقَى
Ne ulia waria Nyasaye alireebwa ehale ninakwo.

ٱلَّذِي يُؤۡتِي مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ
Ulia urusinjia omwandu kukwe khulwa okhwitswenula.

وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعۡمَةٖ تُجۡزَىٰٓ
Ne shikali mbu aliho yesiyesi wamukholela amalayi lano khamurunje tawe.

Ayah: 20

إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ
Halali nokhukhaaba obweni bwa Nyasaye wuwe Omulesi, Oweekulu muno.

وَلَسَوۡفَ يَرۡضَىٰ
Naye yakhachame!
