Ayah: 16

وَلَقَدۡ خَلَقۡنَا ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ وَنَعۡلَمُ مَا تُوَسۡوِسُ بِهِۦ نَفۡسُهُۥۖ وَنَحۡنُ أَقۡرَبُ إِلَيۡهِ مِنۡ حَبۡلِ ٱلۡوَرِيدِ
Noi l-am creat pe om și Noi Știm ce-i șoptește sufletul său, căci Noi suntem mai aproape de el[4] decât vâna gâtului,
[4] Cunoaște totul despre el

Ayah: 17

إِذۡ يَتَلَقَّى ٱلۡمُتَلَقِّيَانِ عَنِ ٱلۡيَمِينِ وَعَنِ ٱلشِّمَالِ قَعِيدٞ
Când cei doi primitori [Îngerii care scriu] primesc[5], stând [unul] în dreapta și [celălalt] în stânga,
[5] Și scriu fiecare cuvânt și faptă

Ayah: 18

مَّا يَلۡفِظُ مِن قَوۡلٍ إِلَّا لَدَيۡهِ رَقِيبٌ عَتِيدٞ
Și el [omul] nu va rosti niciun cuvânt, fără să aibă lângă el un supraveghetor pregătit [să scrie].

Ayah: 19

وَجَآءَتۡ سَكۡرَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِ بِٱلۡحَقِّۖ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنتَ مِنۡهُ تَحِيدُ
Și vine agonia morții cu adevărat: „Aceasta este cea de care tu te-ai ferit!”

Ayah: 20

وَنُفِخَ فِي ٱلصُّورِۚ ذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡوَعِيدِ
Se va sufla în Trâmbiță: Aceasta este Ziua amenințării.

وَجَآءَتۡ كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ مَّعَهَا سَآئِقٞ وَشَهِيدٞ
Și va veni fiecare suflet împreună cu un mânător și un martor.

لَّقَدۡ كُنتَ فِي غَفۡلَةٖ مِّنۡ هَٰذَا فَكَشَفۡنَا عَنكَ غِطَآءَكَ فَبَصَرُكَ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ حَدِيدٞ
[Se va spune păcătosului]„Tu ai fost nepăsător față de aceasta. Și Noi am îndepărtat vălul tău și privirea ta este astăzi pătrunzătoare”

Ayah: 23

وَقَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ هَٰذَا مَا لَدَيَّ عَتِيدٌ
Și însoțitorul său [Îngerul] va spune: „Iată ce se află la mine pregătit [scrierile]!”

أَلۡقِيَا فِي جَهَنَّمَ كُلَّ كَفَّارٍ عَنِيدٖ
[Allah va spune]: „Aruncați în Iad pe tot necredinciosul îndârjit,

مَّنَّاعٖ لِّلۡخَيۡرِ مُعۡتَدٖ مُّرِيبٍ
Împiedicător al binelui, nelegiuit și bănuitor,

ٱلَّذِي جَعَلَ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَأَلۡقِيَاهُ فِي ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلشَّدِيدِ
Care a așezat alături de Allah un alt dumnezeu!. Aruncați-l pe el la chinul cel aspru!”

Ayah: 27

۞ قَالَ قَرِينُهُۥ رَبَّنَا مَآ أَطۡغَيۡتُهُۥ وَلَٰكِن كَانَ فِي ضَلَٰلِۭ بَعِيدٖ
Însoțitorul său [diavolul] va spune: „Doamne, eu nu l-am oropsit, ci el s-a aflat în rătăcire adâncă!”

Ayah: 28

قَالَ لَا تَخۡتَصِمُواْ لَدَيَّ وَقَدۡ قَدَّمۡتُ إِلَيۡكُم بِٱلۡوَعِيدِ
[Allah] le va spune: „Nu vă certați în fața Mea! Eu v-am trimis amenințarea mai înainte!

Ayah: 29

مَا يُبَدَّلُ ٱلۡقَوۡلُ لَدَيَّ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ بِظَلَّٰمٖ لِّلۡعَبِيدِ
La Mine vorba nu se schimbă și Eu nu sunt nedrept cu robii Mei!"

Ayah: 30

يَوۡمَ نَقُولُ لِجَهَنَّمَ هَلِ ٱمۡتَلَأۡتِ وَتَقُولُ هَلۡ مِن مَّزِيدٖ
În Ziua aceea, Îi vom spune Iadului: „Te-ai umplut?” Iar el va răspunde: „Mai sunt încă [de venit]?”

Ayah: 31

وَأُزۡلِفَتِ ٱلۡجَنَّةُ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ غَيۡرَ بَعِيدٍ
Și va fi Paradisul adus aproape de cei care se tem [de Allah].

هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِكُلِّ أَوَّابٍ حَفِيظٖ
[Li se vor spune]: „Aceasta este ceea ce s-a făgăduit fiecărui om care se căiește, păzitor al legământului,

Ayah: 33

مَّنۡ خَشِيَ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنَ بِٱلۡغَيۡبِ وَجَآءَ بِقَلۡبٖ مُّنِيبٍ
Care a fost cu teamă de Ar-Rahman [Cel Milostiv], fără ca el să-L vadă, și care a venit [către El] cu inima plină de căință.

Ayah: 34

ٱدۡخُلُوهَا بِسَلَٰمٖۖ ذَٰلِكَ يَوۡمُ ٱلۡخُلُودِ
Intrați în el cu pace!” Aceasta este Ziua veșniciei!

لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ فِيهَا وَلَدَيۡنَا مَزِيدٞ
În el vor avea tot ceea ce vor voi. Și la Noi este și mai mult.
