Waki-a

Ayah: 1

إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ
1. Ekiseera ekitaliimu kubuusabuusa bwe kirituuka.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ
2. Okutuuka kwakyo tekuliimu kubuusabuusa.

Ayah: 3

خَافِضَةٞ رَّافِعَةٌ
3. Kirikakkanya (abeeyisa obubi era) kirisitula (abeeyisa obulungi).

Ayah: 4

إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ رَجّٗا
4. Ensi bwe rikankanyizibwa olukankana.

وَبُسَّتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ بَسّٗا
5. N'ensozi nezimerengulwa olumerengulwa.

فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءٗ مُّنۢبَثّٗا
6. Olwo nno nezifuuka enfuufu efumuuka.

Ayah: 7

وَكُنتُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا ثَلَٰثَةٗ
7. Era mmwe nemuba emitendera esatu.

Ayah: 8

فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ
8. Olwo nno newabaawo ogwa ba nannyini mukono ogwa ddyo, yye omanyi okubeera ku mukono ogwaddyo kye kitegeeza?.

Ayah: 9

وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ
9. Era newabaawo n’ogwa ba nannyini mukono ogwa kkono, yye omanyi okubeera ku mukono ogwa kkono kye kitegeeza?.

Ayah: 10

وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ
10. Newabaawo n’ogwabo abaakulembera, abalikulembera mu buli kimu.

Ayah: 11

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ
11. Abo be bo kusembezebwa (ewa Katonda).

فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ
12. Nga bali mu jjana ez'ebyengera.

ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ
13. Bangi mu bibiina ebyasooka.

Ayah: 14

وَقَلِيلٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ
14. Nabatono mu kibiina kya bantu abenkomerero (abekibiina kya Nabbi Muhammad).

عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّوۡضُونَةٖ
15. (Balibeera) ku bitanda ebyakolebwa mu zzaabu n'amayinja amalala agomuwendo.

مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ
16. Baliba bagalamidde ku byo nga boolekaganye (nga banyumya).
