Ayah: 207

مَآ أَغۡنَىٰ عَنۡهُم مَّا كَانُواْ يُمَتَّعُونَ
Ohun tí A ṣe ní ìgbádùn fún wọn kò sì níí rọ̀ wọ́n lọ́rọ̀.
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 208

وَمَآ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَرۡيَةٍ إِلَّا لَهَا مُنذِرُونَ
A ò sì pa ìlú kan run àfi kí wọ́n ti ní àwọn olùkìlọ̀.

Ayah: 209

ذِكۡرَىٰ وَمَا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ
Ìrántí (dé fún wọn sẹ́). Àti pé Àwa kì í ṣe alábòsí.

وَمَا تَنَزَّلَتۡ بِهِ ٱلشَّيَٰطِينُ
Kì í ṣe àwọn aṣ-ṣaetọ̄n ni wọ́n sọ (al-Ƙur’ān) kalẹ̀.

وَمَا يَنۢبَغِي لَهُمۡ وَمَا يَسۡتَطِيعُونَ
Kò yẹ fún wọn. Wọn kò sì lágbára rẹ̀.

إِنَّهُمۡ عَنِ ٱلسَّمۡعِ لَمَعۡزُولُونَ
Dájúdájú A ti mú wọn takété sí gbígbọ́ rẹ̀ (láti ojú sánmọ̀).

فَلَا تَدۡعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ فَتَكُونَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُعَذَّبِينَ
Nítorí náà, má ṣe pe ọlọ́hun mìíràn mọ́ Allāhu, nítorí kí ìwọ má baà wà nínú àwọn tí A máa jẹ níyà.

وَأَنذِرۡ عَشِيرَتَكَ ٱلۡأَقۡرَبِينَ
Kí o sì kìlọ̀ fún àwọn ẹbí rẹ tó súnmọ́ jùlọ.

وَٱخۡفِضۡ جَنَاحَكَ لِمَنِ ٱتَّبَعَكَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Kí o sì rẹ apá rẹ nílẹ̀ fún àwọn tó tẹ̀lé ọ nínú àwọn onígbàgbọ́ òdodo.

فَإِنۡ عَصَوۡكَ فَقُلۡ إِنِّي بَرِيٓءٞ مِّمَّا تَعۡمَلُونَ
Tí wọ́n bá sì yapa (àṣẹ) rẹ, sọ pé: “Dájúdájú èmi yọwọ́ yọsẹ̀ nínú ohun tí ẹ̀ ń ṣe (níṣẹ́ aburú).”

وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱلۡعَزِيزِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Kí o sì gbáralé Alágbára, Àṣàkẹ́-ọ̀run;

إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

Ṣé kí n̄g sọ ẹni tí àwọn aṣ-ṣaetọ̄n ń sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá bá fún yín?

تَنَزَّلُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ أَفَّاكٍ أَثِيمٖ
Wọ́n ń sọ̀kalẹ̀ wá bá gbogbo àwọn òpùrọ́, ẹlẹ́ṣẹ̀.

يُلۡقُونَ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَأَكۡثَرُهُمۡ كَٰذِبُونَ
(Àwọn aṣ-ṣaetọ̄n) ń dẹtí (sí ìró sánmọ̀). Ọ̀pọ̀lọ́pọ̀ wọn sì ni òpùrọ́.

وَٱلشُّعَرَآءُ يَتَّبِعُهُمُ ٱلۡغَاوُۥنَ
Àwọn eléwì, àwọn olùṣìnà l’ó ń tẹ̀lé wọn.

أَلَمۡ تَرَ أَنَّهُمۡ فِي كُلِّ وَادٖ يَهِيمُونَ
Ṣé o ò rí i pé gbogbo ọ̀gbun ọ̀rọ̀ ni wọ́n ń tẹnu bọ̀ ni?

وَأَنَّهُمۡ يَقُولُونَ مَا لَا يَفۡعَلُونَ
Àti pé dájúdájú wọ́n ń sọ ohun tí wọn kò níí ṣe.

إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَذَكَرُواْ ٱللَّهَ كَثِيرٗا وَٱنتَصَرُواْ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا ظُلِمُواْۗ وَسَيَعۡلَمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَيَّ مُنقَلَبٖ يَنقَلِبُونَ
Àfi àwọn tó gbàgbọ́ ní òdodo, tí wọ́n ṣe iṣẹ́ rere, tí wọ́n rántí Allāhu ní ọ̀pọ̀lọ́pọ̀, tí wọ́n sì jàjà gbara lẹ́yìn tí wọ́n ti ṣàbòsí sí wọn. Àwọn tó ṣàbòsí sì máa mọ irú ìkángun tí wọ́n máa gúnlẹ̀ sí.
