Ayah: 40

يَٰبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ ٱذۡكُرُواْ نِعۡمَتِيَ ٱلَّتِيٓ أَنۡعَمۡتُ عَلَيۡكُمۡ وَأَوۡفُواْ بِعَهۡدِيٓ أُوفِ بِعَهۡدِكُمۡ وَإِيَّٰيَ فَٱرۡهَبُونِ

Ẹ̀yin ọmọ ’Isrọ̄’īl,^[1] ẹ rántí ìdẹ̀ra Mi, èyí tí Mo ṣe fún yín. Ẹ mú májẹ̀mu Mi ṣẹ, Mo máa mú (ẹ̀san) májẹ̀mu yín ṣẹ. Èmi nìkan ni kí ẹ sì páyà.

[1] Ibn ‘Abbās - kí Allāhu yọ́nú sí i - sọ pé: “Nínú èdè ‘Abrāniyyah (Hébérù), “’Isrọ̄” túmọ̀ sí “ẹrú”, “ ’īl” sì túmọ̀ sí “Allāhu”. Èyí já sí pé, “ẹrú Allāhu” ni ìtúmọ̀ “’Isrọ̄’īl”. (Tọbariy)
