Ayah: 114

وَمَا كَانَ ٱسۡتِغۡفَارُ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لِأَبِيهِ إِلَّا عَن مَّوۡعِدَةٖ وَعَدَهَآ إِيَّاهُ فَلَمَّا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُۥٓ أَنَّهُۥ عَدُوّٞ لِّلَّهِ تَبَرَّأَ مِنۡهُۚ إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَأَوَّٰهٌ حَلِيمٞ
Và Ibrahim cầu xin (Allah) tha thứ cho người cha của mình là do lời hứa mà Y đã hứa với người cha. Nhưng khi thấy rõ người cha của mình là một kẻ thù của Allah thì Người đoạn tuyệt với ông. Quả thật, Ibrahim là một người con có hiếu, hằng chịu đựng.
