أَوۡ تَقُولُوٓاْ إِنَّمَآ أَشۡرَكَ ءَابَآؤُنَا مِن قَبۡلُ وَكُنَّا ذُرِّيَّةٗ مِّنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡۖ أَفَتُهۡلِكُنَا بِمَا فَعَلَ ٱلۡمُبۡطِلُونَ
Hoặc các ngươi có thể nói: “Chính cha mẹ của chúng tôi chủ trương việc thờ nhiều thần linh trước đây, chúng tôi chỉ là hậu duệ của họ, (chúng tôi không hay biết gì). Phải chăng Ngài sẽ tiêu diệt chúng tôi vì điều (tội lỗi) mà những kẻ theo ngụy giáo đã làm?”
