لَّيۡسَ عَلَى ٱلۡأَعۡمَىٰ حَرَجٞ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلۡأَعۡرَجِ حَرَجٞ وَلَا عَلَى ٱلۡمَرِيضِ حَرَجٞۗ وَمَن يُطِعِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ يُدۡخِلۡهُ جَنَّٰتٖ تَجۡرِي مِن تَحۡتِهَا ٱلۡأَنۡهَٰرُۖ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّ يُعَذِّبۡهُ عَذَابًا أَلِيمٗا
Người mù, người què, và người bệnh không bị khiển trách (nếu không tham chiến). Và ai tuân lệnh Allah và Sứ Giả của Ngài thì sẽ được thu nhận vào thiên đàng bên dưới có các dòng sông chảy; ngược lại, ai quay lưng bỏ đi (đào ngũ) thì sẽ bị phạt bằng một sự trừng phạt đau đớn.
