مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِي هَٰذِهِ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٖ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتۡ حَرۡثَ قَوۡمٖ ظَلَمُوٓاْ أَنفُسَهُمۡ فَأَهۡلَكَتۡهُۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ وَلَٰكِنۡ أَنفُسَهُمۡ يَظۡلِمُونَ
Hình ảnh về những vật mà họ chi dùng ở trần gian này có thể ví như một luồng gió cực kỳ giá buốt bay đến tàn phá mùa màng của một đám người tự hủy hoại linh hồn của mình cho nên họ đã tàn phá nó. Không phải Allah hãm hại họ mà chính họ đã tự làm hại bản thân mình.
