۞ وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِي مَرَجَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ هَٰذَا عَذۡبٞ فُرَاتٞ وَهَٰذَا مِلۡحٌ أُجَاجٞ وَجَعَلَ بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٗا وَحِجۡرٗا مَّحۡجُورٗا
Và Ngài là Đấng đã cho hai biển nước tự do chảy: một loại với nước ngọt, dễ uống và loại kia với nước mặn, chát. Và Ngài dựng một bức chắn tách biệt hai dòng nước, không cho trộn lẫn với nhau.[124]
[124] Các nhà thám hiểm đại dương đã khám phá thấy cố các dòng nước ngọt chảy giữa đại dương mà không trộn lẫn với nước mặn.
