At-Takwir

Ayah: 1

إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ
Jua litakapokunjwa,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ
Na nyota zikazimwa,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 3

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ
Na milima ikaondolewa,

Ayah: 4

وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ
Na ngamia wenye mimba pevu watakapoachwa wasishughulikiwe,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ
Na wanyama wa mwituni wakakusanywa,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ
Na bahari zikawaka moto,

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ
Na nafsi zikaunganishwa,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُۥدَةُ سُئِلَتۡ
Na msichana aliyezikwa hai atakapoulizwa,

بِأَيِّ ذَنۢبٖ قُتِلَتۡ
Kwa kosa gani aliuliwa?

Ayah: 10

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ
Na madaftari yatakapoenezwa,

Ayah: 11

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡ
Na mbingu itakapotanduliwa,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ
Na Jahannamu itakapochochewa,

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ
Na Bustani ikasogezwa,

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٞ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ
Kila nafsi itajua ilichokihudhurisha.

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ
Ninaapa kwa nyota zinaporejea nyuma.

Ayah: 16

ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ
Zinazokwenda, kisha zikajificha.

Ayah: 17

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ
Na kwa usiku unapopungua.

Ayah: 18

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ
Na kwa asubuhi inapopambazuka.

Ayah: 19

إِنَّهُۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٖ كَرِيمٖ
Kwamba hakika bila ya shaka hii ni kauli ya Mjumbe mtukufu.

Ayah: 20

ذِي قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِي ٱلۡعَرۡشِ مَكِينٖ
Mwenye nguvu na mwenye cheo kwa huyo Mwenye Kiti cha Enzi.

مُّطَاعٖ ثَمَّ أَمِينٖ
Anayetiiwa, tena muaminifu.

Ayah: 22

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجۡنُونٖ
Na wala huyu mwenzenu hana wazimu.

Ayah: 23

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ
Na hakika yeye alimwona kwenye upeo wa macho ulio safi.

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلۡغَيۡبِ بِضَنِينٖ
Wala yeye si bahili kwa mambo ya ghaibu.

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَيۡطَٰنٖ رَّجِيمٖ
Wala hii si kauli ya Shetani aliyelaaniwa.

فَأَيۡنَ تَذۡهَبُونَ
Basi mnakwenda wapi?
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 27

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٞ لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Haikuwa hii ila ni ukumbusho kwa walimwengu wote.

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَسۡتَقِيمَ
Kwa yule miongoni mwenu anayetaka kwenda sawa.

Ayah: 29

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Wala nyinyi hamtataka isipokuwa atake Mwenyezi Mungu Mola Mlezi wa walimwengu wote.
