أَمۡ كُنتُمۡ شُهَدَآءَ إِذۡ حَضَرَ يَعۡقُوبَ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ إِذۡ قَالَ لِبَنِيهِ مَا تَعۡبُدُونَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِيۖ قَالُواْ نَعۡبُدُ إِلَٰهَكَ وَإِلَٰهَ ءَابَآئِكَ إِبۡرَٰهِـۧمَ وَإِسۡمَٰعِيلَ وَإِسۡحَٰقَ إِلَٰهٗا وَٰحِدٗا وَنَحۡنُ لَهُۥ مُسۡلِمُونَ
Sila yeroo Ya’aquubitti duuti dhufnaan ilmaan isaatiin "ana booda maal gabbartan?" jedhe isin bira jirtumoo? Isaanis ni jedhan: "Nuti Gooftaa kee, Gooftaa abboota kee Ibraahiim, Ismaa’iiliifi Isihaaq gabbaramaa tokkicha kan ta’e gabbarra, Nuti Isaaf ajajamtoota (Muslimoota)."
