Ayah: 14

وَّرَبَطْنَا عَلٰی قُلُوْبِهِمْ اِذْ قَامُوْا فَقَالُوْا رَبُّنَا رَبُّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ لَنْ نَّدْعُوَاۡ مِنْ دُوْنِهٖۤ اِلٰهًا لَّقَدْ قُلْنَاۤ اِذًا شَطَطًا ۟
ಅವರು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತಾಗ ನಾವು ಅವರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ದೃಢಪಡಿಸಿದೆವು. ಆಗ ಅವರೆಂದರು: ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಭುವು ಆಕಾಶಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಒಡೆಯನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಅವನ ಹೊರತು ಇನ್ನಾವ ಆರಾಧ್ಯನನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿತ ನಾವು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಲಾರೆವು. ಹಾಗೇನಾದರೂ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನಾವು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತಾಗುವುದು.
