Translation of the meanings Ayah: (7) Surah: Luqmān

Ayah: 7

وَإِذَا تُتۡلَىٰ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَٰتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسۡتَكۡبِرٗا كَأَن لَّمۡ يَسۡمَعۡهَا كَأَنَّ فِيٓ أُذُنَيۡهِ وَقۡرٗاۖ فَبَشِّرۡهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Dan apabila dibacakan kepadanya [1180] ayat-ayat Kami, dia berpaling dengan menyombongkan diri seolah-olah dia belum mendengarnya, seakan-akan ada sumbat di kedua telinganya; maka beri kabar gembiralah dia dengan azab yang pedih.
[1180]. Maksud "kepadanya" ialah kepada orang yang mempergunakan perkataan-perkataan yang tidak berfaedah untuk menyesatkan manusia.
