ثُمَّ أَنشَأۡنَا مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ قَرۡنًا ءَاخَرِينَ
Kemudian, Kami jadikan sesudah mereka umat yang lain [999].
[999]. Maksudnya, kaum ‘Ād sebagai yang diriwayatkan dari lbnu Abbas dan itulah yang dipegangi oleh jumhur mufassirin dan rasul yang diutus dalam kalangan mereka yang disebut dalam ayat 32 berikut ialah Nabi Hūd ‘Alaihissalām.
