لَّا يُؤَاخِذُكُمُ ٱللَّهُ بِٱللَّغۡوِ فِيٓ أَيۡمَٰنِكُمۡ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَاخِذُكُم بِمَا كَسَبَتۡ قُلُوبُكُمۡۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ حَلِيمٞ
Allah tidak menghukum kamu disebabkan sumpahmu yang tidak dimaksud (untuk bersumpah), tetapi Allah menghukum kamu disebabkan (sumpahmu) yang disengaja (untuk bersumpah) oleh hatimu. Dan Allah Maha Pengampun lagi Maha Penyantun[140].
[140]. Halīm berarti penyantun, tidak segera menyiksa orang yang berbuat dosa.
