أَثُمَّ إِذَا مَا وَقَعَ ءَامَنتُم بِهِۦٓۚ ءَآلۡـَٰٔنَ وَقَدۡ كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسۡتَعۡجِلُونَ

Kemudian apakah setelah terjadinya (azab itu), kemudian itu kamu baru mempercayainya? Apakah sekarang ^[697] (baru kamu mempercayai), padahal sebelumnya kamu selalu meminta supaya disegerakan?

[697]. Maksudnya, pada waktu terjadinya azab itu.
