Al 'Alaq

Purposes of the Surah:
الإنسان بين هدايته بالوحي وضلاله بالاستكبار والجهل.
Elle démontre que l’être humain devient parfait par la science la Révélation qui le mènent à s’attacher à son Seigneur et à se soumettre à Lui. Inversement, elle démontre qu’il est déficient lorsqu’il renonce à la science et à la Révélation.

Ayah: 1

ٱقۡرَأۡ بِٱسۡمِ رَبِّكَ ٱلَّذِي خَلَقَ
Ô Messager, lis ce qu’Allah te révèle en commençant par prononcer le Nom de ton Seigneur qui a créé toutes les créatures,
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 2

خَلَقَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مِنۡ عَلَقٍ
qui a créé l’être humain d’un caillot de sang issu d’une goutte de sperme.

Ayah: 3

ٱقۡرَأۡ وَرَبُّكَ ٱلۡأَكۡرَمُ
Ô Messager, lis ce qu’Allah te révèle. Ton Seigneur le très magnanime, dont la magnanimité n’est égalée par celle de personne. En effet, Il est très généreux et bienfaisant.

Ayah: 4

ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَ بِٱلۡقَلَمِ
C’est Lui qui enseigna l’écriture par la plume (`al-qalamu),

Ayah: 5

عَلَّمَ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ مَا لَمۡ يَعۡلَمۡ
et enseigna à l’être humain ce qu’il ne connaissait pas.

Ayah: 6

كَلَّآ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَيَطۡغَىٰٓ
En vérité, l’être humain pervers, à l’image de `Abû Jahl, transgresse exagérément les limites d'Allah,

Ayah: 7

أَن رَّءَاهُ ٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰٓ
*puisqu’il estime se suffire à lui-même par son prestige et sa richesse.

Ayah: 8

إِنَّ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ ٱلرُّجۡعَىٰٓ
Or c’est vers ton Seigneur qu’aura lieu le retour le Jour de la Résurrection, ô être humain, et Il rétribuera chacun selon ce qu’il mérite.

Ayah: 9

أَرَءَيۡتَ ٱلَّذِي يَنۡهَىٰ
Connais-tu un cas plus étonnant que celui de `Abû Jahl, qui défend

عَبۡدًا إِذَا صَلَّىٰٓ
à notre serviteur Muħammad de prier près de la Ka’bah?

Ayah: 11

أَرَءَيۡتَ إِن كَانَ عَلَى ٱلۡهُدَىٰٓ
Crois-tu qu’il suit une guidée et une clairvoyance provenant de son Seigneur?

Ayah: 12

أَوۡ أَمَرَ بِٱلتَّقۡوَىٰٓ
Ou alors, ordonnait-il de craindre Allah en se conformant à Ses commandements et en renonçant à Ses interdits? Celui qui ordonne cela défend-il de prier?

Benefits of the verses in this page:
• رضا الله هو المقصد الأسمى.
La satisfaction d’Allah est la finalité suprême.
• أهمية القراءة والكتابة في الإسلام.
La lecture et l’écriture sont importantes dans l’Islam.
• خطر الغنى إذا جرّ إلى الكبر والبُعد عن الحق.
La richesse est dangereuse lorsqu’elle mène à s’enorgueillir et à s’éloigner de la vérité.
• النهي عن المعروف صفة من صفات الكفر.
Proscrire ce qui est convenable est une caractéristique de la mécréance.
• إكرام الله تعالى نبيه صلى الله عليه وسلم بأن رفع له ذكره.
Les péchés ont manqué de casser le dos du Prophète. Qu’en est-il du reste des gens?
