إِنَّ إِبۡرَٰهِيمَ لَحَلِيمٌ أَوَّٰهٞ مُّنِيبٞ
Abraham était indulgent et n’aimait pas hâter le châtiment. Il implorait souvent Allah, l’invoquait fréquemment et se repentait sans cesse à Lui.

• بيان فضل ومنزلة خليل الله إبراهيم عليه السلام، وأهل بيته.
Le rang d’Abraham, l’Ami intime d’Allah, et des gens de sa maison est mis en exergue dans ce passage.
• مشروعية الجدال عمن يُرجى له الإيمان قبل الرفع إلى الحاكم.
Il est prescrit de plaider la cause de celui dont on espère qu’il adhèrera à la foi avant de soumettre son cas au juge.
• بيان فظاعة وقبح عمل قوم لوط.
L’horreur et l’obscénité des agissements du peuple de Loth sont mis en lumière dans ces versets.
