Translation of the meanings Surah: Ash-Shu‘arā’   Ayah:

Ayah: 40

لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُواْ هُمُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
da slijedimo čarobnjake, ako oni budu pobjednici!”
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 41

فَلَمَّا جَآءَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ قَالُواْ لِفِرۡعَوۡنَ أَئِنَّ لَنَا لَأَجۡرًا إِن كُنَّا نَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبِينَ
A kad dođoše, čarobnjaci faraona upitaše: “Hoće li nama, doista, pripasti nagrada ako mi budemo pobjednici?”
Arabic explanations of the Qur’an:

Ayah: 42

قَالَ نَعَمۡ وَإِنَّكُمۡ إِذٗا لَّمِنَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبِينَ
“Hoće,” odgovori on, “bit ćete tad sigurno meni najbliži.”

Ayah: 43

قَالَ لَهُم مُّوسَىٰٓ أَلۡقُواْ مَآ أَنتُم مُّلۡقُونَ
Mojsije im reče: “Bacite ono što želite baciti!”

Ayah: 44

فَأَلۡقَوۡاْ حِبَالَهُمۡ وَعِصِيَّهُمۡ وَقَالُواْ بِعِزَّةِ فِرۡعَوۡنَ إِنَّا لَنَحۡنُ ٱلۡغَٰلِبُونَ
I oni pobacaše konope svoje i štapove svoje i rekoše: “Tako nam dostojanstva faraonova, mi ćemo svakako pobijediti!”

Ayah: 45

فَأَلۡقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلۡقَفُ مَا يَأۡفِكُونَ
Zatim Mojsije baci svoj štap, koji, odjednom, proguta ono što su oni lažno izveli.

Ayah: 46

فَأُلۡقِيَ ٱلسَّحَرَةُ سَٰجِدِينَ
Čarobnjaci se onda na tlo baciše,

قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِرَبِّ ٱلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
i rekoše: “Mi vjerujemo u Gospodara svjetova,

رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَٰرُونَ
Gospodara Mojsijeva i Aronova!”

Ayah: 49

قَالَ ءَامَنتُمۡ لَهُۥ قَبۡلَ أَنۡ ءَاذَنَ لَكُمۡۖ إِنَّهُۥ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ ٱلَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ ٱلسِّحۡرَ فَلَسَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَۚ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيۡدِيَكُمۡ وَأَرۡجُلَكُم مِّنۡ خِلَٰفٖ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمۡ أَجۡمَعِينَ
Faraon povika: “Da povjerujete njemu prije dopuštenja moga!? On je vaš učitelj! On vas je čarobnjaštvu naučio – a vi ćete zapamtiti! Poodsijecat ću vam ruke i noge vaše unakrst i sve ću vas porazapinjati!”

Ayah: 50

قَالُواْ لَا ضَيۡرَۖ إِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ
“Ništa strašno!” rekoše oni. “Mi ćemo se Gospodaru svom vratiti.

Ayah: 51

إِنَّا نَطۡمَعُ أَن يَغۡفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَٰيَٰنَآ أَن كُنَّآ أَوَّلَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ
Mi se nadamo da će nam Gospodar naš grijehe naše oprostiti zato što smo prvi vjernici.”

Ayah: 52

۞ وَأَوۡحَيۡنَآ إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰٓ أَنۡ أَسۡرِ بِعِبَادِيٓ إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ
I Mi objavismo Mojsiju: “Kreni noću s robovima Mojim, ali bit ćete gonjeni.”

Ayah: 53

فَأَرۡسَلَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ فِي ٱلۡمَدَآئِنِ حَٰشِرِينَ
I faraon posla po gradovima sakupljače.

إِنَّ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ لَشِرۡذِمَةٞ قَلِيلُونَ
“Ovih je zaista malo,

وَإِنَّهُمۡ لَنَا لَغَآئِظُونَ
i rasrdili su nas,

وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَٰذِرُونَ
a mi smo svi budni!”

فَأَخۡرَجۡنَٰهُم مِّن جَنَّٰتٖ وَعُيُونٖ
I Mi ih izvedosmo iz vrtova i rijeka,

وَكُنُوزٖ وَمَقَامٖ كَرِيمٖ
iz riznica i dvoraca divnih.

Ayah: 59

كَذَٰلِكَۖ وَأَوۡرَثۡنَٰهَا بَنِيٓ إِسۡرَٰٓءِيلَ
Eto tako je bilo, i Mi dadosmo da to naslijede sinovi Izraelovi.

Ayah: 60

فَأَتۡبَعُوهُم مُّشۡرِقِينَ
I oni ih, kad se sunce rađalo, sustigoše.
