Ayah: 1

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰ
1. Yalli barai xiibite, bari ditet baaxó buula waqdi,

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ
2. Kaadu laqól xiibite, is diifut baaxó ifissi hayta waqdi,

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ
3. Kaadu labtii kee saytiyá gine Rabbi isil xiibite.

إِنَّ سَعۡيَكُمۡ لَشَتَّىٰ
4. Diggah sin taama sissinih, isin addunyah taamita maraa kee akeerah taamita marah anuk.

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أَعۡطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ
5. Tokkel Yalli acuya iyyem yeceeh, Yallak meesite numuh tu-gactek,

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
6. Kaadu maqaaney (jannat kinnuk) yalli meqe marah massoyse nummaysek,

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ
7. Toysa maqaanê gita kaah xabbacoysenno.

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ
8. Kaadu cillaaliteeh, Yallak gaddalime numuh tu-gactek,

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ
9. Kaadu maqaaney (jannat kinnuk) yalli meqe marah massoyse dirabboysek.
