ߞߘߐ ߟߎ߬ ߘߟߊߡߌ߬ߘߊ߬ߟߌ ߝߐߘߊ ߘߏ߫ ߥߊߛߏߢߐ߲߯ߠߊ - ߊ߲߬ߞߌ߬ߟߋ߬ߞߊ߲ ߘߟߊߡߌߘߊ - ߍ߲ߕߍߙߑߣߊߛߐ߲ߣߊߟ ߦߋߟߋ߲ ߝߊ߲ߓߊ ߓߟߏ߫. - ߞߐߜߍ ߝߙߍߕߍ 600 - ߞߎ߬ߙߣߊ߬ ߞߟߊߒߞߋ ߔߘߋߞߎ

At-Takāthur

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 1

أَلۡهَىٰكُمُ ٱلتَّكَاثُرُ

Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 2

حَتَّىٰ زُرۡتُمُ ٱلۡمَقَابِرَ

Until you visit the graveyards.^[1980]

[1980] i.e., remain in them temporarily, meaning until the Day of Resurrection.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 3

كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

No! You are going to know.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 4

ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَوۡفَ تَعۡلَمُونَ

Then, no! You are going to know.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 5

كَلَّا لَوۡ تَعۡلَمُونَ عِلۡمَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

No! If you only knew with knowledge of certainty...^[1981]

[1981] The conclusion of this verse is estimated to be "...you would not have been distracted from preparing for the Hereafter."

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 6

لَتَرَوُنَّ ٱلۡجَحِيمَ

You will surely see the Hellfire.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 7

ثُمَّ لَتَرَوُنَّهَا عَيۡنَ ٱلۡيَقِينِ

Then you will surely see it with the eye of certainty.^[1982]

[1982] i.e., with actual eyesight.

ߟߝߊߙߌ ߘߏ߫: 8

ثُمَّ لَتُسۡـَٔلُنَّ يَوۡمَئِذٍ عَنِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

Then you will surely be asked that Day about pleasure.^[1983]

[1983] i.e., the comforts of worldly life and whether you were grateful to Allāh for His blessings.
