ការបកប្រែអត្ថន័យ ជំពូក​ អាល់ឡៃល៍ - ការបកប្រែជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស - មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលនួរ អុិនធឺណាសឺណល់ - សព្វវចនាធិប្បាយនៃគម្ពីគួរអាន

Al-Layl

អាយ៉ាត់: 1

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا يَغۡشَىٰ

By the night when it covers^[1937]

[1937] With darkness.

អាយ៉ាត់: 2

وَٱلنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّىٰ

And [by] the day when it appears

អាយ៉ាត់: 3

وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱلذَّكَرَ وَٱلۡأُنثَىٰٓ

And [by] He who created the male and female,

អាយ៉ាត់: 4

إِنَّ سَعۡيَكُمۡ لَشَتَّىٰ

Indeed, your efforts are diverse.

អាយ៉ាត់: 5

فَأَمَّا مَنۡ أَعۡطَىٰ وَٱتَّقَىٰ

As for he who gives and fears Allāh

អាយ៉ាត់: 6

وَصَدَّقَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ

And believes in the best [reward].

អាយ៉ាត់: 7

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡيُسۡرَىٰ

We will ease him toward ease.

អាយ៉ាត់: 8

وَأَمَّا مَنۢ بَخِلَ وَٱسۡتَغۡنَىٰ

But as for he who withholds and considers himself free of need

អាយ៉ាត់: 9

وَكَذَّبَ بِٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰ

And denies the best [reward],

អាយ៉ាត់: 10

فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُۥ لِلۡعُسۡرَىٰ

We will ease him toward difficulty.

អាយ៉ាត់: 11

وَمَا يُغۡنِي عَنۡهُ مَالُهُۥٓ إِذَا تَرَدَّىٰٓ

And what will his wealth avail him when he falls?^[1938]

[1938] i.e., when he dies or is destroyed. It can also mean when he falls into the Hellfire.

អាយ៉ាត់: 12

إِنَّ عَلَيۡنَا لَلۡهُدَىٰ

Indeed, [incumbent] upon Us is guidance.

អាយ៉ាត់: 13

وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلۡأٓخِرَةَ وَٱلۡأُولَىٰ

And indeed, to us belongs the Hereafter and the first [life].

អាយ៉ាត់: 14

فَأَنذَرۡتُكُمۡ نَارٗا تَلَظَّىٰ

So I have warned you of a Fire which is blazing.

អាយ៉ាត់: 15

لَا يَصۡلَىٰهَآ إِلَّا ٱلۡأَشۡقَى

None will [enter to] burn therein except the most wretched one

អាយ៉ាត់: 16

ٱلَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّىٰ

Who had denied and turned away.

អាយ៉ាត់: 17

وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا ٱلۡأَتۡقَى

But the righteous one will avoid it –

អាយ៉ាត់: 18

ٱلَّذِي يُؤۡتِي مَالَهُۥ يَتَزَكَّىٰ

[He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself

អាយ៉ាត់: 19

وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُۥ مِن نِّعۡمَةٖ تُجۡزَىٰٓ

And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded^[1939] –

[1939] i.e., without intending reciprocation for some benefit to himself.

អាយ៉ាត់: 20

إِلَّا ٱبۡتِغَآءَ وَجۡهِ رَبِّهِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ

But only seeking the face [i.e., acceptance] of his Lord, Most High.

អាយ៉ាត់: 21

وَلَسَوۡفَ يَرۡضَىٰ

And he is going to be satisfied.
