ការបកប្រែអត្ថន័យ ជំពូក​ អាល់វ៉ាគីអះ - ការបកប្រែជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស - មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលនួរ អុិនធឺណាសឺណល់ - លេខ​ទំព័រ 534 - សព្វវចនាធិប្បាយនៃគម្ពីគួរអាន

Al-Wāqi‘ah

អាយ៉ាត់: 1

إِذَا وَقَعَتِ ٱلۡوَاقِعَةُ

When the Occurrence occurs,

អាយ៉ាត់: 2

لَيۡسَ لِوَقۡعَتِهَا كَاذِبَةٌ

There is, at its occurrence, no denial.

អាយ៉ាត់: 3

خَافِضَةٞ رَّافِعَةٌ

It will bring down [some] and raise up [others].^[1608]

[1608] According to their deeds rather than wealth and social position, as is the case in this world.

អាយ៉ាត់: 4

إِذَا رُجَّتِ ٱلۡأَرۡضُ رَجّٗا

When the earth is shaken with convulsion

អាយ៉ាត់: 5

وَبُسَّتِ ٱلۡجِبَالُ بَسّٗا

And the mountains are broken down, crumbling

អាយ៉ាត់: 6

فَكَانَتۡ هَبَآءٗ مُّنۢبَثّٗا

And become dust dispersing,

អាយ៉ាត់: 7

وَكُنتُمۡ أَزۡوَٰجٗا ثَلَٰثَةٗ

And you become [of] three kinds:

អាយ៉ាត់: 8

فَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَيۡمَنَةِ

Then the companions of the right - what are the companions of the right?^[1609]

[1609] i.e., those given their records in their right hand and who are destined for Paradise.

អាយ៉ាត់: 9

وَأَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ مَآ أَصۡحَٰبُ ٱلۡمَشۡـَٔمَةِ

And the companions of the left - what are companions of the left?^[1610]

[1610] i.e., those given their records in their left hand and who are destined for Hell.

អាយ៉ាត់: 10

وَٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ ٱلسَّٰبِقُونَ

And the forerunners, the forerunners^[1611] -

[1611] The words can also be understood as a complete sentence, i.e., "The forerunners [in good deeds] are the forerunners [in entering Paradise]."

អាយ៉ាត់: 11

أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ ٱلۡمُقَرَّبُونَ

Those are the ones brought near [to Allāh]

អាយ៉ាត់: 12

فِي جَنَّٰتِ ٱلنَّعِيمِ

In the Gardens of Pleasure,

អាយ៉ាត់: 13

ثُلَّةٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

A [large] company of the former peoples

អាយ៉ាត់: 14

وَقَلِيلٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡأٓخِرِينَ

And a few of the later peoples,

អាយ៉ាត់: 15

عَلَىٰ سُرُرٖ مَّوۡضُونَةٖ

On thrones woven [with ornament],

អាយ៉ាត់: 16

مُّتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَيۡهَا مُتَقَٰبِلِينَ

Reclining on them, facing each other.
