ការបកប្រែអត្ថន័យ ជំពូក​ អាស់សហ្វហ្វាត - ការបកប្រែជាភាសាអង់គ្លេស - មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលនួរ អុិនធឺណាសឺណល់ - លេខ​ទំព័រ 446 - សព្វវចនាធិប្បាយនៃគម្ពីគួរអាន

As-Sāffāt

អាយ៉ាត់: 1

وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِ صَفّٗا

By those [angels] lined up in rows

អាយ៉ាត់: 2

فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِ زَجۡرٗا

And those who drive [the clouds]

អាយ៉ាត់: 3

فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِ ذِكۡرًا

And those who recite the message,^[1286]

[1286] To the prophets or among themselves. Allāh (subḥānahu wa taʿālā) swears by these three kinds of angels to the fact mentioned in the following verse.

អាយ៉ាត់: 4

إِنَّ إِلَٰهَكُمۡ لَوَٰحِدٞ

Indeed, your God is One,

អាយ៉ាត់: 5

رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا وَرَبُّ ٱلۡمَشَٰرِقِ

Lord of the heavens and the earth and that between them and Lord of the sunrises.^[1287]

[1287] i.e., each point or place of sunrise.

អាយ៉ាត់: 6

إِنَّا زَيَّنَّا ٱلسَّمَآءَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا بِزِينَةٍ ٱلۡكَوَاكِبِ

Indeed, We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment of stars

អាយ៉ាត់: 7

وَحِفۡظٗا مِّن كُلِّ شَيۡطَٰنٖ مَّارِدٖ

And as protection against every rebellious devil

អាយ៉ាត់: 8

لَّا يَسَّمَّعُونَ إِلَى ٱلۡمَلَإِ ٱلۡأَعۡلَىٰ وَيُقۡذَفُونَ مِن كُلِّ جَانِبٖ

[So] they may not listen to the exalted assembly [of angels] and are pelted from every side,^[1288]

[1288] By flaming meteors.

អាយ៉ាត់: 9

دُحُورٗاۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٞ وَاصِبٌ

Repelled; and for them is a constant punishment,

អាយ៉ាត់: 10

إِلَّا مَنۡ خَطِفَ ٱلۡخَطۡفَةَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُۥ شِهَابٞ ثَاقِبٞ

Except one who snatches [some words] by theft, but they are pursued by a burning flame, piercing [in brightness].

អាយ៉ាត់: 11

فَٱسۡتَفۡتِهِمۡ أَهُمۡ أَشَدُّ خَلۡقًا أَم مَّنۡ خَلَقۡنَآۚ إِنَّا خَلَقۡنَٰهُم مِّن طِينٖ لَّازِبِۭ

Then inquire of them, [O Muḥammad], "Are they a stronger [or more difficult] creation or those [others] We have created?" Indeed, We created them [i.e., men] from sticky clay.

អាយ៉ាត់: 12

بَلۡ عَجِبۡتَ وَيَسۡخَرُونَ

But you wonder, while they mock,

អាយ៉ាត់: 13

وَإِذَا ذُكِّرُواْ لَا يَذۡكُرُونَ

And when they are reminded, they remember not.

អាយ៉ាត់: 14

وَإِذَا رَأَوۡاْ ءَايَةٗ يَسۡتَسۡخِرُونَ

And when they see a sign, they ridicule.

អាយ៉ាត់: 15

وَقَالُوٓاْ إِنۡ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا سِحۡرٞ مُّبِينٌ

And say, "This is not but obvious magic.

អាយ៉ាត់: 16

أَءِذَا مِتۡنَا وَكُنَّا تُرَابٗا وَعِظَٰمًا أَءِنَّا لَمَبۡعُوثُونَ

When we have died and become dust and bones, are we indeed to be resurrected?

អាយ៉ាត់: 17

أَوَءَابَآؤُنَا ٱلۡأَوَّلُونَ

And our forefathers [as well]?"

អាយ៉ាត់: 18

قُلۡ نَعَمۡ وَأَنتُمۡ دَٰخِرُونَ

Say, "Yes, and you will be [rendered] contemptible."

អាយ៉ាត់: 19

فَإِنَّمَا هِيَ زَجۡرَةٞ وَٰحِدَةٞ فَإِذَا هُمۡ يَنظُرُونَ

It will be only one shout, and at once they will be observing.

អាយ៉ាត់: 20

وَقَالُواْ يَٰوَيۡلَنَا هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلدِّينِ

They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense."

អាយ៉ាត់: 21

هَٰذَا يَوۡمُ ٱلۡفَصۡلِ ٱلَّذِي كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ

[They will be told], "This is the Day of Judgement which you used to deny."

អាយ៉ាត់: 22

۞ ٱحۡشُرُواْ ٱلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ وَأَزۡوَٰجَهُمۡ وَمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡبُدُونَ

[The angels will be ordered], "Gather those who committed wrong, their kinds,^[1289] and what they used to worship

[1289] Those similar to them in evil deeds. Another possible meaning is "their wives."

អាយ៉ាត់: 23

مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ فَٱهۡدُوهُمۡ إِلَىٰ صِرَٰطِ ٱلۡجَحِيمِ

Other than Allāh, and guide them to the path of Hellfire

អាយ៉ាត់: 24

وَقِفُوهُمۡۖ إِنَّهُم مَّسۡـُٔولُونَ

And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned."
